Lela Lee became an actress when she caught the acting bug while in college at UC Berkeley. Upon graduating from school, she landed ensemble roles in two independent Asian-American films, Yellow by Chris Chan Lee and Shopping For Fangs by Quentin Lee. Since then, she has been steadily working in projects such as pilots for Fox’s 5 Houses by John Riggi and Todd Holland and NBC’s Times Square by Josh Weinstein and Bill Oakley. She played series regular “Jodi Chang” on the SciFi series Tremors and was the recurring character “ Bonnie” on Scrubs. She has guest starred on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Will & Grace, Charmed, Friends, Felicity, and Rude Awakenings, among others.
Lela Lee is also a successful cartoonist, drawing her comic strip Angry Little Girls which is based on her first character, the Angry Little Asian Girl which she first began drawing in college.
